Hi, I have to re-point a section of our kitchen wall. However im not sure if it is lime mortar or cement mortar. See pic

The house was built in about 1900. The mix has much larger grains of sand in it than modern cement mortar. I want to make sure i use the right stuff to re-point the damaged areas.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Looks like moss mortar to me.

Is there a bit of wall where the mortar is grey or white instead of green?

If you can dig a key in and its whitish, then its lime

But in your case, those are London commons so its most likely cement mortar
