Now that Rupert Murdock has launched his iPad newspaper the internet is protected.

I'd like to think I'd read a book or two. Something like.... http://tiny.cc/annh4 It would probably do me a world of good. :p

If the internet, TV, and mobile phone service was down, likely that we'd all be in the street, throwing stones at one another, maybe petrol bombs, to get rid of Cameron/Clegg, which we should do anyway. Who voted them in? Nobody.

There were fuel protests a few years ago, now people accept higher fuel prices. No worries. What a farce on the people. Queue nicely..don't complain..don't make a scene..

But forums always explode with anger. The British people don't know what or who to complain about...I do..and have complained to my MP, and local council on many occasion. Make your voice heard to the people that matter, not tittle tattle on a forum. A forum is for expressing your opinion, or asking a question, not petty arguing.

I read yesterday, that the actual cost of petrol and diesel to the retailers dropped by 2p per litre last month, and yet the retailers continued to push the cost to us punters up. Even Cameron and Co are starting to ask questions about this. (the govt will still put excise duty up on fuel though in the coming budget)
There will probably be an increase of 2p per pint of beer announced, which by the time we buy it over the bar in the local will have jumped to anywhere between 10p and 25p per pint.

Anyway rant over, back to martians question.
I think we'd miss the internet for at least a year, then things would revert back to the good old days of snail mail and telephones. Schoolkids might actually start learning something in school (instead of looking the answers up online). Heck,,, people might just start to use their brains a bit more, they might even start talking to each other . ;) ;) ;)

Facecrap would be gone and people would actually have to talk to real friends.
Evil bay would be gone and people would have to go to actual shops,
and read actual newspapers,
and books,

and the only naked ladies available to look at would be their missus's (or a cheap tart down the local if they were lucky).

Or Readers Wives. ;) ;) ;)

and kids would venture outside, and might even play in the fresh air.

Anyone read Blind Faith by Ben Elton? It's really heading that way...

To think George Orwell was only 20 years or so early with his foresight...
