well in the coming general election i.e gets a greater share of the vote then brown or milliband

there will be some seriously P***ed off labour party members ;) such as Yvette Cooper , Hilary Benn who will have a dilemma, as to how they will rid the labour party of Corbyn

many in the party have been banking on Corbyn doing badly in the election so as to get rid of him ;)

They may have to put there back stabbing moment on hold & go back to sniping from the sidelines :)

it has been suggested that Yvette cooper expected(hopes)the result to be so bad that she would announce leader ship challenge on the following Sunday  it has been suggested that she may have to put this on hold untill September ;)

it is rumoured that Boris' old village have texted him to say his old job has been rationalised and there will be no vacancy for an Idiot.

Unfortunately, Milliband screwed the moderates when he brought in the voting changes. Corbyn will need to resign because the far left will always vote for him in sufficient numbers for him to get in. If the Labour party gets a good enough drubbing, then the moderates will very likely form a new party.

There appears to be several labour MP sending out leaflets telling theor constituants that they'll try and get rid of Corbyn after they get in. Now that's loyalty.

Show us one of these leaflets? Now that's evidence.

Who gives a ****? As long as the **** does not get into nr 10, then we are all OK.

No I didn't Noesall, and I'll assume that the papers didn't either. I'll try and find the article for you, but it surprised me as well. They know they can't get rid of Corbyn, so what's the point of telling their constituants that they'll try and get rid of him afterwards if they get voted in.

The story I read was the mp for sedgefield, stating that he did not support Corbyn, and reminding the constituents that a vote for him would mean he would be dedicated to working for them.

Nothing about ousting Corbyn per se, but indicates that at least one labour mp fears being "tarnished" by association.

This is a strange story.

It's no secret that several (Labour) MPs do not like Corbyn and have refused to serve in the shadow cabinet so, presumably, would like him ousted - if only he didn't keep winning the leadership so decisively.

Are they thinking that they have more chance of retaining their seat if they further disassociate themselves from Corbyn?

Of course, that depends on the voters agreeing with them; if not, it could work the other way round.

Either way, they are not going to get a government position.

I think that is the point, EFLI; remind the voters that a vote for (Labour candidate) is just that, a vote for their local representative, and should not be thought of as a vote for Corbyn himself.
