Had the immersion heater element replaced.
The plumber replaced the old 3 foot element with one that's around 18" (due to access problems).
Question: should my hot water take longer to heat ? It seem pretty lukewarm ever since the repair (and I cranked the thermostat on the top of the element to the max - so I'm assuming it will output the max 60-65 degrees)
Now the nominal power rating is the same (3 kW), so there shouldn't really be much difference.. but despite what I keep telling the girlfriend, I've got a sneaking suspicion size does matter...
Any thoughts ?
Many thanks
