Immersion heater overheat?

I've been having the same problem since Xmas.

New immersion (so it cant be scaled up yet). Thermostat set to 60 yet the cutout randomly trips. Its a combined thermostat/cutout. Have replaced it twice, still happens. I've now modified the plumbing the get a thermocouple inside the cylinder so I can log the actual water temperature. none of the cutouts are 'real'.

This is ongoing...........

You really need to start your own thread, it is against site rules to Hi-Jack existing threads, and for very good reason, you dont have the same problem
