Immersion Heater

Hi, changing faulty Immersion heater on an Albion direct combination tank/cylinder. But aswell as gasket it as been sealed with boss white me thinks?, so it is well fixed. I don't want to buckle or tear cylinder wall trying to get it out! any tips of the trade would be welcomed?

Loads and loads of heat with a blow torch fitted with MAPP gas. Search on here for help. There was a post last week I think covering all about this problem
