Hi,

I have a Makita 6936FDZ Impact Driver and am looking for a set of reasonably priced sockets.

Can anyone recommend any decent ones?

Thanks

For a battery impact driver any standard chrome vanadium sockets will do, the heavy duty impact sockets (usually black) that are available are mainly for air tools and the high torque impact wrenches.

Halfords professional sockets are decent gear.

Screwfix 13872 are excellent - I've had mine for ages. They are hex rather than bi-hex and the deep drive ones come in well handy. (Tap back nuts with a normal wrench, for example).
John :)

go on the net and get a set of the hitachi ones. they come in a black case, should be able to pick them up on e-bay. ive got a set thats lasted 4 years so far. very good quality
