In the front bedroom we had water coming in under the window sill, (upvc window, wooden sill) no idea of the entry point. lifted the sill and siliconed sealed it to stop water coming down wall, now the wall down stairs under the same upstairs window is becoming black with mould / damp, outside wall got repointed sometime ago and problem got much worse after that, gutters seem to be ok. seems to be worst with driving wind and rain, no rain no problem (summer great).
