Hi all, sorry my forum search hasn't really answered my questions. Can anyone help...
I have a gravity fed system (small expansion and about 40gal cold tank in loft, immersion heater second floor and boiler on ground floor). Standard hot water pressure is "okay" but would like it improving. I'd also like to recover the space where the immersion tank is. I don't want to rip it out and put in a combo system. Its a money thing and the present system is only 2 yes old.
I can move the tank up into the loft, then put the tanks on a platform, keeping about 1m drop. This is roughly the same difference at present. Will a shower pump or similar assist with increasing water pressure? If so, what kind of increase are we talking about. Its around .4 bar at the moment
Thanks, Nic
