Indesit WIXL 123 washing machine Screechy Noise

The machine was working OK but the Motor Brushes were on the way out, so have just replaced them.
However it now makes a screechy sound when the drum is spinning, the faster the spin the faster the noise..
Is this due to dodgy brushes ? would appreciate any advice.
