Indesit cooker taking ages to heat up

Got another thread in the central heating section but this is my other main problem.
Moved into a new home about a week ago and found our indesit cooker (90cm wide, 5 gas burner ,one eletric oven model KP9507 EB(x)G is taking about 40 minutes to get to 200C...anyone got any ideas on this? temp light working fine as I checked the temp of oven
