I have a problem with my dishwasher. I think it may be just the impeller jamming up causing the motor to stop. this definitely needs to be replaced. But there may be another problem. The water level does not seem to rise very far, It fills for about 14 seconds then the motor will start to run. The water level is below the heater element, should it not be higher? When the heater comes on to heat the water the motor stops I am pretty sure its jammed. The heater will remain on until the washer is switched off. A slight buzz can be heard from the motor during this time. The washer does seem to rinse ok. pump seems fine. All piping etc looks ok, No water pressure problems or blocked filters.
