Hello, if anyone could help, I would be most grateful. The tablet door does not open, whatever cycle the dishwasher is put on. It doesn't appear to be jammed and stuff comes out not really clean.

The soap tablet door is opened electrically by a device called a solenoid - and if this fails, the door remains shut......very likely to be the cause.
The device lurks within the opening door and is usually a simple enough fix.

Thank you John. So if I can get at the solenoid, are they easy to take out and replace, and is it a cheap thing to buy?
