Indesit dishwasher not working

I have an indesit dishwasher not working propery. To start the diry water hasn't drained out of it and then when you put it on to run it again it sounds like it tries to drain and then carries on cycle, it doesn't fill with water but the elements heat up and just hums a bit.

Any ideas? Thanks

Is that easy to access and unblock? I'm a sparkle so pretty capable but need pointing in the right direction. Thanks
