indesit evolution 1200 we12 making mega noise.
i'm guessing it's bearings are gubbed

firstly is it a job a plumber could manage himself and also how much roughly are the bearings if it is them?

does it make a noise when you spin drum by hand .if it is bearings they cost about 20 quid .rear panel comes off and there is a spider cross piece on the rear drum ,that comes off and drift bearings out check the drum spider for groves in it ,if so new drum needed could be a scrapper .i dont think a plumber will do it diy expert might .
