Indesit - no reverse spin

My Idesit W133S washing machine only turns in one direction, so when it fails, the program knobs just turns around. I can hear the relays switching, but nothing happens, then it aborts. All else is working OK. Any ideas please. I have had to repair so many things on this machine I have nearly had it!
