Timer keeps clicking round, pump is running and red light appears to be flashing 9 times. What does this code mean please?

Mine did the same, was not emptying properly. Think maybe blockage? Blew up the outlet pipe (prob not the best idea) and managed to get a few things spun properly, however appears blockd again and can't get the bloomin lid off it (done screws at back can't see how fitted at front)
Any advice out there welcome

9 flashes is an incompatible eprom. Problem with the main pcb by the sound of it.

The front doesn't come off. Take the plinth off at the base and you'll see either a filter or a blank plate. The four screws hold the pump in place.
Check for blockages in the pump and hoses.

Thanks for that, attempted a bit of syphoning via the outlet pipe and made self sick, however must have shifted something as is running ok now. Will have a go at checking pump tho - thanks again
