Indesit W103UK - no power

Hi All

Needing help to fix mother-in-laws washing machine (no comments please), she loves it.

Indesit w103UK. absoluely no power. The powerlight doesn't come on.
Checked cable, checked/changed fuse, checked socket and no fault there.

Took the top of the washing machine, and looked down with a puzzled look.

Door closes, although I didn't have a torx driver so I couldn't check the door switch.

Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, can you give me a pointer as to where to start looking.

I've read one post already re a PCB that may have subject to a leak. I'll check that one out tomorrow.

The switch does go in and out, but where-as the two switches to the left of the power switch "click" when pushed in, the power switch doesn't.

Any help appreciated.

If it used to click and it isn't anymore, sounds like the switch has gone. If you have a meter check to see if there is power to the switch and out of switch when made.

thanks for the suggestion, but I don't know if it used to click. I'll try the Meter
