My indesit w121 is making a lot of noise on the spin cycle. It always was a noisy machine but it has gotten a bit noisier of late. In fact you can see the sides of the machine tremor quite a bit on full spin. I was inspecting the weights and springs etc and noticed the two dampeners on the bottom. The dampeners are connected to the casing at the base okay but where they are connected to the drum there seems to be a certain amount of play. In fact if you push the drum about a bit you can here the dampeners clicking about in the joint.
Is this play in the joint correct, ie is it normal?
Should I attempt to tighten the retaining nut.
