New to this forum, so bear with me.

We have an Indesit WG 1030 washing machine which is 6 years old and had no previous bother. Only recently it has started not to spin when there is a normal load placed in it. Everything else works fine. If you cut the load to say half, quite light load, it works exactly as it should. Only the weight of the load seams to affect its performance but only on the final spin. I have checked the brushes on the motor and all are well, cleaned the stator etc last night and it worked once, now back to its tricks. It hasn't had a hard life by all means but its getting the better of me.

its worth checking the drive belt, i have known them slip on full load and it fools the motor tacho circuit into thinking its out of balance load but with lighter load no belt slip. regards gazza unplug appliance before removing any covers.

Never thought of that one Gazza, worth a look, after rebuilding it the other night it worked ok once and then started it capers again, so you could just be right.

Many Thanks for replying.
