indesit wi101 programme dial continuosly clicks round

Hi machine stopped in mid cycle full of water. emptied m/c and removed foreign objects from pump. tried to reset m/c then left power off. Started m/c in cycle seemed ok, did wash cycle ok think it was on spin or drain cycle then programme dial starts to constantly click round. :rolleyes:

count the number of flashes on the door lock constant flashes before the rapid flashes .
 
Hi when you turn m/c on, light is on, not sure if you count that one. Then it flashes once before rapid.
 
thats ok wot happens after 1 flash does it work or not at all .

after rapid flash m/c constantly flashes and programme dial constanly goes round :confused:
 
right then count the flashes till the rapid flash.it goes like this flash flash click click flash flash then rapid flashes in this case 4 flashes that is a error code .
 
Indesit Evolution Range Error Codes also refers to the number of flashes on the non-lcd type

F01 Short Circuit-Motor Triac
F02 Motor jammed or tachogenerator detached
F03 Temp probe o/c or s/c
F04 Pressure switch jammed on reset
F05 Pressure switch jammed on trip
F06 Programme selector management error
F07 Heater relay stuck
F08 Heater relay cannott be activated
F09 Incompatable eeprom
F10 Pressure switch not sensing correctly
F11 Pump cannot be be activated.
F12 LCD Display module and main module not communicating correctly
 
Cheers 8 flashes. Heater relay cant be activated? It it much of of job? Thanks
 
heater relay is on the pcb ex pcb time recon one from emw .
 
Hi got new pcb from EMW.reset m/c unfortunately timers still clicking round continuosly. 1 flash this time.In LIterature from EMW it suggests check motor brushes which i,ll do. It also mentions replacing pressure switch. Does that sound ok?. I,ll get there eventually. :LOL:
 
also make sure motor plug is pushed on properly.
