Indesit WIE147 - not completing a cycle

Hi,

My machine starts a wash, door locks, door lock light comes on, mid cycle it stops, door lock light goes out, but door remains locked. It will empty, and fill, but never completes the full cycle. It has a digital display and the time remaining changes and doesnt give a correct remaining time.

I cleaned the filter out (found a 5p inside) but now it will not even start a cycle and displays 'door' on the display, even though I can hear the door lock click shut and the door is locked.

I'd be grateful if anyone has any thoughts on this problem! I'm more than happy to replace parts if I need to.

Check motor brushes poss worn. Plenty of vids on you tube to show how it's done.
