Basically the machine was working fine, then out of the blue it has started stopping before it finishes the program. Right now, if I put it on a any program number or a rinse cycle it'll go through it until it comes to the drainage cycle, then there's this clonk sound inside the machine and some lights start to flash - from left to right the first light is blinking and the door lock light is blinking. (The first light is the delay timer). Whatever program it is put on it either dies on the drain cycle or the spin cycle with those flashing error lights, and also I can hear presumably the pump chugging away to itself for a while. Eventually the pump turns off and the door unlocks but the lights stay flashing. Any idea what these lights actually mean? The manual troubleshooter just says to contact the helpline, but I expect they'll just tell me I need a bloke to come out and fix it and if that's the case I might just as well go and buy a new washing machine.
