My washing machine is getting louder when it goes either in faster mode in wash and also spin. When I turn the wheel manually when its empty it does make a clunky/rubbing noise (Hubby thinks its a dry bearing noise). Any ideas please? Thanks
To diagnose a noisy bearing. Quickly turn the drum by hand. A deep rumble would be a dry bearing. The water is washing the grease away. Some wil133 had metal tanks with bearings replaced by removing the 'spider' 4 legged cross shape immediately behind the pulley wheel behind the back panel. Some have plastic tanks. They are welded together so a bearing change isn't feasible. Indesit can repair this. 08448 224 224
