Indesit WiLX123 wash machine

The drum support spring broke on my daughters machine. I've sourced a new spring and fitted it but now there's an over-filling problem. Is there some kind of water level sensor on the drum that maybe has been damaged or had a lead pulled off. Indesit wilx 123

presure pipe come of pressure switch ,remove lid its in the corner at the top ,long black pipe attached to it.
