indesit wixl123 washing machine.......

i have a indesit wixl123 washing machine which will not fill. when i close the door i dont get a "proper" click so the machine sits waiting although the red lock light is out and the programme light is on does anyone know if the fault is with the handle or the lock...........

If possible select a spin only prog.(not rinse & spin).

If the interlock is faulty it will not spin. Not filling could be one of several possible faults, the above will elininate door lock switch.

The model you have is I beleive a current one. How old is yours, does it have any guarantee left ?

machine is 10 months old so 2 months left

Ok. Once the door is shut can it be opened after 3-4 mins. If it can then either the switch is not making or it is making but the interlock not operating.

Either way call indiset & have them repair it for you free of charge. Good luck..
