I have this indesit machine for just over 2 years. Started making awful noise on spin cycle which i presumed was a shot bearing not too much to worry about I thought easy fix........... Apparently not ive been told this can not be repaired.

Now if thats the case I find it disgraceful, however it matters not because I refuse to accept this.
That flippin bearing is coming out whether it likes it or not and I was wondering if you kind chaps could help me by advising how I can get it out.

Thanks guys much appreciated

U been feed bull ,it can be repaired remove rear panel cross piece needs to come off are u sure it's bearings not just a loose top. Botto
m. Weight

Ah thank you very much maybe thats why hes out of work. Anyway i dont think its loose weights drum makes noise even if just spun by hand slowly. So how do i get that wheel undone on the back that goes through the bearing cos damn is that bolt holding it on tight. Has it got locktight on it or something and then how do i knock bearing out after that. Thanks again my friend i find your advice much more appealing to my ears and wallet.

if it rumbles when you turn it by hand then bearings are gone , the nut in the centre has nut lock on it hit it a few times to crack it .then remove pulley , the cross piece on the back has to come off bolts in each corner 8 altogether then it pulls off . bearings in the middle of that knock them out with a drift and slot new ones in , refit in reverse order.bearing cost about a tenner of ebay.

You are quite obviously a genius I can tell thank you very much I will try this in the next day or two and let you know.

Had a quick look last night but the thing confusing me is what do you mean when you say cross piece. I cant see anything like that at the back of the drum at all. There is two what look like shock absorbers towards the front that run from top to bottom but i cant see any spider like frame or anything. Is it underneath the drum supporting it below.

when you remove rear panel its in front of you on the back of the drum like a big X .bolts in each corner of it.

Right I see what u mean now. Only trouble is not only have they used those stupid star headed bolts but they seem to have been done up by mr muscles I cant get them undone. All ive got is star screwdrivers which im afraid have no chance of undoing them I presume you can get socket type fittings so you can use a wrench? I will have a look for some. Thanks again for your help im sure I will get there in the end

Just to let you know its all fixed and working a dream. I even took the door seal off and gave it a good clean although it was a mission to get it back on.
So just wanted to make sure I gave you one more thank you rocks1 I couldnt of done it without you and very much appreciate your advice.
Thanks
