if the immersion heater in a indirect cylinder has been isolated does the cylinder still do a job within a system

the hot water will be heated indirectly by the boiler, so yes

thanks holty,the overflow in cwsc overflows when the hot water is called for could this have anything to do with the cylinder

micky g whats your problem? if you dont know the answer others might the cwsc is overflowing the hot water to the mixer taps to basin and bath are poor not allowing the diverter bath/shower unable to work unless the cold is on full,and the immersion is knackered? nice job eh! so any advice is welcome,otherwise dont bother replying

er ok mate, you replace your cylinder. I was pointing out the fact that your taps are causing your problem not your cylinder. But hey if you wanna change ya cylinder go for it.
