I am thinking of fitting a tap for connection of a garden hose, but siting the tap indoors by utilising the cold water supply to the wash basin in the downstairs toilet (avoiding the need for a hole in the wall, outside piping, etc).
Is it just a matter of inserting a tap into the wash basin feed to which a hose can be attached, or are there complications that, as a complete layman, I am overlooking?
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
