I have a a Megaflow cylinder fed by a Valiant Eco Max boiler. I want to replace the rad in the bathroom for a towel warmer and I need to replace couple of TRVs as they are broken.

Two radiators down stairs have drain taps on so I guess that's how I drain the system. The fill loop is next to the boiler - I used that after bleeding the radiators to top up the pressure.

Do I need to add an inhibtor to these systems? If so how on earth to I get it into the system?

Yes you do need an inhibitor.
You can get it in tubes, with adaptors, that fit in a mastic gun and is pumped in through a convenient point or in an aerosol which is injected in a similar fashion.

As Mick has said, you can get all sorts with differing adaptors.
One that springs to mind is Fernox F1 express.

Towel warmers are good for adding inhibitor. Just unscrew a plug from the top and pour it in.
