hello,
i am currently living in Spain, where the use of inhibitors in ch systems is unheard of (also full commisioning of new systems apparently). A big problem here is the amount of cal/limescale in the water. If i introduce inhibitor to my 1.5 yr old system (Vaillant w/mounted o/f combi(wall faced 125 mm single pipe natural draught flued!) is it likely to break down existing lime scale? Also have just fitted trv's to friends 3 yr old rads (all bar one) and experiencing bad knocking which moves from rad to rad if turn down the trv. Could scale be prob? (tho think some rads on single pipe, others spurred off loop, and poss 1 with flow & return inverted (flow running bottom to top)
