First Off, thanks to anyone who reads this.
My boiler (Weil Mclain GV GAS Hot Water) was making some terrible banging noises and some descaler seemed to help.
But, I am having some problems getting sufficient heat.
The furnace heats up for a bit, and takes the water to 180 degrees, then sits there for 30 minutes till it goes back down to 140 degrees and fires up again. Meanwhile the house temperature has only increases 1 degree. I have tried to bring up the hot water shut off temperature, but then the pressure release valve engages.
Does anyone have any ideas?
PS the end of the circle gets some heat. I'm just wondering if its a partially functioning pump? Do they function partially?
