Hi,
The Garage entry door in the house with a multi-lock suddenly won't open. On unlocking most of the levers fall back and clear once I turn the knob except for one bit at the top (seen in pic) which doesn't move. If I slip in a thin blade I almost feel as if I can push it back as it does respond but find it difficult to do that.
Welcome anyone with suggestions or expertise in these kind of locks.
Many Thanks

Multi-lock or multi-point lock?

Is it just a centre lock or does the lock run the full height of the door?

Assuming it's just a central lock where the handle is what is that a picture of, is it the latch or the deadbolt?

Looks high up so assume it's the latch, if so then slip a bit of thin wire between the gap of the door and frame above and behind the latch, feed it behind and then fish it back out below, grab both ends of the wire and pull, pulling gently on the door handle so when the door comes open it doesn't re-latch itself

Thanks crank39.
I managed to open the door by taking the screws out because sliding a wire didn't work.
Now what do I do with the latch that is sticky - cleaned it with wd40 but it still is a bit sticky. Right now I've put a duck tape to hold it back until I decide what to do with it.
