Inner toilet syphon washer

Our toilet ain't flushing very good so i want to make a diaphragm and renew the washer inside the syphon but can the washer be bought and would you know the size if they are standard.

It's the foam washer that i'm after and not the plastic diaphragm washer. You cannot buy the plastic diaphragm washer for my syphon as the syphon is no longer made and thats why i'm going to make a plastic diaphragm but i was unsure if the rubber washer could be bought.

It sounds like you want the doughnut washer.
There are about 5 different ones to choose from.
What cistern/pan do you have?
