I need to remove the plate on the bottom. I've removed 2 long screws and was expecting it to come away, is there else or just elbow grease required?

Unit was bought as faulty (running constantly), start switch was burnt together, I've got a new switch but some of the wiring insulation is damaged so need access to replace.

Does the silver metal finger looking thing near the qr code move? Is the rib that runs round the grey outside near the CE sticker holding another rib on the black part?

There is a type of mastic sticking it together, I had to take one apart and used a marine silicone when re-asembling.

Thanks guys, gentle tapping with a chisel round the small lip on the rim brought it off. I had spotted the fingers, they just hold the electrical block onto the other side.

I thought with it being American I'd find loads of "teardown" videos on YouTube but doesn't seem to be much in the way of user serviceability for the main working parts of this one - just buy a new unit.
