HI everyone, could do with a little clarity on me thinking on how to go about putting in airbricks along the gable end of a property where the concrete path butts up to the wall.
So far so good but the path is on a slope and luckilly for me the monkeys involved in this part of the process 15 years ago made the concrete higher than the dpc at the top end of the slope. Weve had to have surveyors and timber specialists etc in as theres loads of damp problems and joists are having to be replaced etc.
so mr surveyor says dig a sump every 2metres or so and install an airbrick below exterior ground level!
Im already thinking this might be difficult to gain access to as Im concerned how much disc cutting away from the wall I will have to do to get adequate access to remove the render and a brick. to insert the airbrick from the outside. It looks as though I will have to install a french drain typoe affair at the top of the slope also.

Any ideas.

You are wasting your time and money attempting to do anything until you rip the path up and relay same below DPC.
Your surveyor is as much good as a chocolate kettle.
