I have a gas oven/hob which I want to replace with an elecric fan oven, electric grill and gas hob. There is a red OVEN switch/box above the current cooker (about 30 years old) and a standard 13A socket on the wall just above floor level. I have been told that I will have to connect the electric oven to the OVEN switch/box by chasing the wiring through the wall. I do not want to do this as I will have to break expensive tiling. Is there a solution that will enable me to keep the tiles?
