Hi guys, I'm about to embark on installing a bar mixer shower. (pipework in the wall). I've heard that you have to be careful with the installation of a mixer bar mixer as if someone pulls on the bar, they may rip it out of the wall. I've seen on the screwfix direct site a product which appears to combat this although I'm not sure how to be honest. . heres a link : http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?id=56419&ts=27054 . Id be really grateful of some pointers on the best / safest / easiest way to install this. ..thanks a lot

Thanks a lot Chris. I'll make some investigations

I installed this shower mixer with the elbows shown by ChrisR's link. The Screwfix ones came with three holes, but no washers.

That was installing the shower on a blockwall. I would imagine you use the same parts for installing on a stud wall, but screwing the elbows to a noggin.
