I am installing a new soil stack. I have 110mm plastic pipe going through the wall which needs to connect into the stack. Having come through the wall if I use a 45 degree bend (push fit) before going into the stack, unless I sink the joint into the wall it sits very proud of the wall. It does not seem right that there should be a joint in the wall as if it leaks the consequences will not be that good.

Any help as to what to use would be appreciated

Thanks

HI

I do understand your point .
but the joints have to be inside the wall so that any clips can be fitted easily and the soil pipe running outside is not too far from the wall .
as for the leak before making the hole good test the soil pipes with water
(flush the w.c or run bath /basin water ).
once fitted properly it should not leak
