installing new Velux blinds?

Has anyone done this?

We have 4 slanting windows with velux GHL606 velux blinds. We have bought the same code blinds but blackout..

We are trying to remove the others without breaking them but they seem to snap off and i cant see properly how the actual blind/roller at the top is attached to the window?

With ours, you pulled the blind unit away from the glass to remove them and fix the new one. they are held on by clips fixed to the frame.
