After purchasing a wall mount light to hang from what I thought was a light fixture in my apartment, I'm having some troubles getting the light connected. From the fixture, I have two groups of wires coming from the wall, each grouping has one red, one black, one blue and one yellow wire. Each color is paired and capped (red top red, black to black, so on) The light I has has only black, white, and ground wires. Was I incorrect in assuming this fixture was a light fixture? If not how do I wire this thing?? Thanks for any help!! (I live in the US if thats makes a difference)
