Installed a 12kW Powerstream http://www.alertelectrical.com/productImgEnlarge.asp?prodID=8886 under the washbasin in the downstairs loo as the hot run from the combi is too long and would take ages to come through.

However, this time of the year the 'instant' water heater struggles with the low temp of the main.

What I'm thinking is, is there any reason not to feed the Powerstream with the hot from the combi? At least when the hot water arrives, we'd get proper hot water.

(btw, it's ok in warmer seasons)
