Hi,
If a stud wall is used with insulation used instead of block for a hip to gable conversion internal, are there any issues when it comes to fixing to the wall. I read an other thread where someone said you need to be careful not to pierce vapour sheet otherwise could have problems (condensation and rot getting in). I did not understand it because presumably if there is a vapour sheet attached you would always end up going through it when putting fixings up given it would be directly behind the plasterboard. Or am I misunderstanding all this?
