Hi,
am renovating my house, the construction is basically a big concrete box with the roof trusses (and roof) propped off of it. So my loft floor is basically a smooth concrete slab. There is absolutely NO insulation in the loft space at all and I want to insulate it (as a cold loft).
I am worried if I use rockwool that I may get condensation problems as the concrete 'breathes' ? or do I use a rockwool with a paper vapour barrier on one side?
I've also been looking at the silver foil insulation and wonder if I can just lay this straight on the concrete?
Suggestions, hints or help most welcome
thanks
John
