Insulating a Loft Bedroom

Hi,

Moved into a house with a converted loft bedroom. Its been freezing up there this winter, which leads me to believe the texture painted plasterboard ceiling is nailed to the roof beams with no insulation. Any ideas how I can insulate?

Our attic rooms were the same.

However ours was in need of a re roof.

So when the tiles were taken off we put 50mm kingspan down before the linings. it's a lot better now.

What your going to have to do without that is likely to either mean removing some of the tiles to work down, or removing the plasterboard & fitting it form the inside.
