Our sunroom is built onto our kitchen, it's part of the house and cannot be shut off from the main house by doors as the kitchen units run into it. It used to be the kitchen and was converted into a conservatory/sunroom 15 years ago. We know about build regs and have not intention of moving!
The sunroom end gets very cold as heat is being lost through the polycarbonate roof. We need to improve the insulation factor cheaply but not to look naff. One idea is to use greenhouse bubble insulation applied to the underside of the roof then clad over with lightweight white PVC tongue and groove to hide it. The room is heated with a big radiator and is in use all day so shutting it off with doors are not any option.
Any thoughts please?
