Hi All,
Could anyone tell me if an internal (studded wall with plasterboard finish) can be insulated by pumping foam in through holes on the room side? I believe that in the USA they have systems that are a DIY application. I really would apreciate any advice

This is the pumps you mean

http://www.spray-insulation.co.uk/product range.htm

but they are used to spray a cavity as you look at it before covering.
A bit like how you spray a car.

I would think a worry of blowing your plaster board if you can't see where you are putting it.

Also have you got electrical cables in the cavity im sure some where theres info regarding the melting of the wire covers if contacted by certain chemicals.

Other option is replace plater board with insulated plaster boards

im no professional so i am sure someone will be along with more info

don't go down the 'pump it in' route, use insulation backed plasterboards as said previous.
