I am slowly turning our attached garage into a home gym, largely because we can't easily get the 5 series in there and open the doors enough to get out!
Its link detatched, so our garage is connected to next doors garage, you can see the breeze block wall in the last image below between them.
Its 7m in length and 3m wide, the beams which run from front to back seemed to be two separate beams which are joined together using the plates you can see in the top image.
Basically after insulating the door, I am looking to insulate the roof somehow as the next step but as it has no centre supports to speak of, I am concerned about adding 100Kg+ of plasterboard plus associated insulation material etc. There is only empty boxes up there at the moment.
I don't care how it looks, I just want to stop some of the heat escaping so any ideas are welcome.
