I have a single skin wall causing cold wall issues, condensation leading to black mould. I'm thinking either using dot and dab insulation board or batten , silver backed plasterboard with thin rock wall packed between. Which is the better option? Or is there a better way?

Board with insulation stuck to back with foam as the adhesive with a few wall fixings through.. Maybe

Sounds like something in France to me. You get what you pay for.

If a wall is getting damp, then you don't want to be sticking stuff to it. Membrane then timber battens, insulation between and over, then vapour check if not already part of the insulation, then plasterboard.
