I've read a number of posts relating to insulating a conservatory roof but haven't seen any that mention an idea I have.
First off I have to say that I appreciate the best way to insulate the roof would be to get it tiled/roofed properly but I don't have the money for that.
I have been thinking about adding a second layer of twin wall polycarbonate sheet (inside) below the original one. Attaching the sheets to the exposed horizontal surface of the joists with twist lock "buttons" so I can take the sheets off to clean them when required.
I wondered what other people think about this please?
Thanks for looking,
Bern
